The toolkit “” presents a variety of tools to help artists and cultural operators to:
1) Map and chose suitable abandoned spaces
2) Plan and create site-specific art interventions
3) Approach and involve the community in the project
The publication is the result of a project coordinated by Mahatat for Contemporary Art, a Cairo-based social and cultural enterprise founded in 2011, in collaboration with the European Cultural Foundation and the Drosos(…) Foundation.
